Habeebullah, Huzur Pak Swallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam is the only One to be followed and imitated.
It is seen these days that Muslims on many occasions, follow the ill faith and non-faith people, those jews, christians, hindus and buddhists, the fire-worshippers, kaafirs and mushriqs! (Na’uzubillah!) Like few days back, following the head-shaving of a Brazilian footballer, some of our Muslim youth did the same; they shaved off the hair from their heads.” (Na’uzubillah!)
Pity is they could follow a non-Muslim and shave off their hair but couldn’t keep long hairs the way did our Rwasool Swallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam. But reference is there in this regard in the Hadis Shareef, narrated

by Hazrat Zabeer RwadiAllahu Ta’ala Anhu that, ‘one day, Hazrat Umr RwadiAllahu Ta’ala Anhu arrived and approached, “Ya Rwasoolullah Swallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam! We hear certain religious narrations from the jews in which we feel astonished. Should we write down some of those?” Replied Huzur Pak Swallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam, “Are you people also in confusion, they way those jews and christians are? Certainly, unto you, I have brought the complete, bright and clear religion. Even if Hazrat Musa Alaihis Salaam were alive on the earth now, He would definitely have to follow me.” (Musnad-e-Ahmad, Baihaqui, Mishquat, Mirquat, Ash’aatul Lum’aat, Lum’aat, Sharhut-Tibwi, At-Taliqus Sabih.)
Now points to ponder is that if it was Fard (must) for even Hazrat Musa Alaihis Salaam, the Nabi for the jews to follow Noor-i-Mujassam, Habeebullah, Huzur Pak Swallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam, then how much that should be for us, is a matter of interpretation. There have come many references in this regard in the Qur’an and Hadis Shareef. In Kalamullah Shareef Allah Ta’ala Declares, “O Habeeb Swallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam! Please tell them, ‘If you adorned Allah Pak or would like to get HIS affection, then do follow me. Only then, Allah would love you and forgive your sins. Verily, Allah is most kind and forgiving!”
In simple words, one has to follow Sayeedul Mursaalin, Imaamul Mursaalin, Huzur Pak Swallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam in its completeness. Because following Huzur Pak Swallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam means following Allah Pak. Therefore Allah Dictates, “One who follows Rwasoolullah Swallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam in fact follows Allah Pak. (Subhan Allah!)
No Muslim should ever follow an ill faith or non-faith people, those jews, christians, hindus and buddhists, the fire-worshippers, kaafirs and mushriqs or for that matter a political figure, poet, author, journalist, the so-called stars, heroes, heroin, singers, musicians or players, whoever they are or whatever worldly abilities they have, following them for a Muslim would be completely haraam and reasons to become hell-dwellers.
Following Noor-i-Mujassam, Habeebullah, Huzur Pak Swallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam as must. The Imaam and Founder of Hamboli mazhab, Imaamul Muhaddisin, Fakhrul Fuqaha, Hazrat Imaam Ahmad bin Hambol Rahmatullah Alaihi gave fatwa that, ‘Observance of all Sunnat are Fard’ meaning that whatever was done by Huzur Pak Swallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam, following and imitating everything of them in all aspects of life is a must for the Ummah. When He announced this fatwa, the contemporary Imaam and Mujtahid gathered and approached, “O Hazrat Imaam Ahmad bin Hambol Rahmatullah Alaihi! We know you to be a Great Alim, Faqih and Imaam. But what this fatwa is you had just given! Have you got any reference for this?” “Yes indeed”. Replies Hazrat Imaam Hamboli Rahmatullah Alaihi. “I have them genuinely from the Qur’an Shareef.” Then He recites this Ayat Shareef, “Stick to whatever Rwasoolullah Swallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam asked you to and refrain from whatever He forbade you from and be Allah fearing. Verily Allah is Dispenser of tougher punishments.”
Hearing the Ayat Shareef, all gone quite. Then they came out, “Indeed, we have our evidences and do realize that observance of Sunnah is Fard. Because Allah Pak ordered to follow Rwasoolullah Swallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam and that Allah’s Orders must be carried out.”
Hazrat An’aas bin Malik RwadiAllahu Ta’ala Anhu, says, “Sayeedul Mursaalin, Imaamul Mursaalin, Huzur Pak Swallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam, in the presence of hundreds of thousands of Sahaba-i-Kiram RwadiAllahu Ta’ala Anhu during the last Hajj, declared, “I am leaving behind two things for you. So long you stick to these two, you shall not go astray. One is – The Qur’an and the other is – My Sunnah.”
The gist is: The only Being to be followed and imitated is Noor-i-Mujassam, Habeebullah, Huzur Pak Swallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam. Following Him in every aspect of life in all respects is a must for an ummat. Therefore, no Muslim should ever follow an ill faith or non-faith people, jews, christians, hindus or buddhists, the fire-worshippers, kaafirs and mushriqs or for that matter a political figure, poet, author, journalist, the so-called stars, heroes, heroin, singers, musicians or players, whoever they are or whatever worldly abilities they have, following them for a Muslim would never be permitted and that it shall be completely haraam and reasons to become hell-dwellers.”
